Course Description:
This 8th grade course is Life Science. Life Science is the study of living things and how they interact with the environment. Students will learn the differences between plant and animal cells. Students will also understand how viruses and bacteria play an important role in their lives. In units of diversity students will learn about arthropods, sponges, worms, fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, mammals and plants. How all organisms interact and adapt to their environment will be taught in our Ecology unit.
